Job Summary
We’re seeking an experienced Clinical Services Consultant to join our team at Blithequark. As a key member of our leadership team, you will report directly to the Executive Director (ED) of our Value-Based Care division. The ED provides critical leadership in the development of supplier-driven evaluations and performance improvement processes, tools, and methodologies. You will drive a local team of Chiefs, Project Directors, and Senior Clinical Strategists, and be responsible for maintaining a highly functional and persuasive work environment to achieve business objectives and deliver exceptional solutions for our Value-Based Care partners serving Government healthcare recipients (ACO REACH, MSSP, and Federal Insurance Benefits).
Key Responsibilities
* Creates and implements performance improvement capabilities to empower Key, Business, and Clinical Change within Blithequark’s supplier network.
* Drives the execution of agreements with supplier associations and provides workflow oversight to professional-level commitment delivery staff from across various teams.
* Provides authority in the development and execution of change initiatives to achieve designated improvement objectives.
* Collaborates with other leaders within the Value-Based Care group to identify empowering technologies and service offerings, projects, and approaches that integrate informatics and performance improvement with clinical, business, strategic, and technology change approaches.
Required Capabilities
* Proven experience in either supplier or value-based care administration and project management
* Financial acumen
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including formal presentations for all levels of management, including C-suite, with strong influencing/ability to impact
* Healthcare industry knowledge, strategy, research plan, predictive modeling, ACO finance techniques, and tools
* Local presence in North Carolina to Southeast Florida
* Travel required 30-50% from North Carolina to Southeast Florida
Preferred Capabilities
* Collaborate with and understand the needs of C-level leaders and assist in translating those needs into a comprehensive plan
* Facilitate complex and often contentious issues, reach agreement, and work through individuals to achieve key objectives
* Communicate technical ideas and recommendations to internal partners and clients
* Experience working with clinical and claims data
* Lead direct, indirect, and virtual teams in a matrixed environment, with successful direct report management and training experience
* Strong business acumen and demonstrated executive, leadership, and management abilities
