Job Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Training Manager to create, manage, and direct training and safety programs for our partners. The successful candidate will ensure that all processes are documented to meet organizational, regulatory, ISO, and corporate requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Create, manage, and direct training and safety programs and activities for partners to ensure all cycles are documented to meet organizational, regulatory, ISO, and corporate requirements.
- Provide technical writing resources to ensure accurate Work Instructions are created and maintained for all processes.
- Ensure partners are trained on individual work tasks and training is documented.
- Ensure all regulatory and customer safety requirements are integrated into organizational policies and partners are appropriately trained.
- Develop and lead onboarding new partner and training programs to ensure all organizational, customer, and regulatory requirements are met.
- Develop, coordinate, and lead work-specific and process training programs to ensure partners are trained on their work capabilities.
- Coordinate and direct writing projects of Technical Writers assigned to document processes.
- Develop site-level Coaches and Technical Writers by conducting “Train-the-Trainer” and “Train-the-Writer” classes as well as providing ongoing coaching and mentoring.
- Manage Site Safety Program including development of safety procedures, auditing for compliance, and informing management staff of safety concerns.
- Provide advisory capability to Site Safety Council to identify safety concerns and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Identify Training/Writing staffing needs, interview candidates, and develop staff members to ensure an effective team and training and documentation needs are met.
- Coordinate and lead corporate-sponsored training programs for site personnel.
- Document system processes in manual.
- Manage policy development and ensure record control guidelines are established and maintained to support ISO and Management of Progress Systems.
- Work closely with Customer Representatives, Operations, Inventory Control, and Customer Service to ensure processes are accurate, documented, and changes are made and communicated according to local Management of Progress Systems.
- Develop flexible training schedules to meet special requests and business requirements.
- Participate in Journey Studios as requested to improve efficiency and resolve process issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in logistics or manufacturing industry. Experience in a lead, supervisory, or management role is required. We value candidates who are passionate about people, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
