Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Maintenance Technician to join our team in Florida. As a key member of our facilities support team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance assignments and minor mechanical repairs to equipment and machinery, ensuring compliance with manufacturer’s recommendations and best practices.
- Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to create and manage preventive maintenance worksheets for equipment and machinery, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to perform predictive, corrective, and preventive maintenance on complex automated equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
- Maintain a safe working environment by identifying and reporting potential health hazards related to equipment, machinery, or facilities, and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Perform tasks that require working at heights up to 100 feet, lifting equipment and tools weighing up to 80 pounds, and performing physical activities such as bending, stooping, and walking, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of a Partner’s degree in a technical field, such as Maintenance Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in an office, military, or manufacturing environment, or a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar setting.
- Knowledge of electrical power systems, including single-phase and three-phase power, engines, safety devices, and photo sensors.
- At least 6 months of experience with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming standards.
- At least 6 months of experience transferring and downloading PLCs, System Control Systems (SCSs), and scanners.
- At least 6 months of experience with hardware such as photo sensors, PLCs, remote I/O modules, servo drives, and variable frequency drives.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset in this role:
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and other maintenance software.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including pumps, motors, and control systems.
- Experience with robotics and automated systems.
- Certifications in maintenance, such as CMRP or CMM.
