Job Summary

We’re seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our Warehouse Operations team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and information within our warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily yard checks and maintain accurate records of trailer status, including trailer number, seal number, trailer status (full or void), farm hauler number, load number, date, and time.
  • Review and update log sheets for all inbound and outbound trailers, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation.
  • Coordinate trailer movement and storage within the warehouse, utilizing our transportation and yard management systems.
  • Direct drivers to designated areas within the yard for trailer drop-off and pick-up, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the completion of all necessary paperwork, records, and documentation, including daily yard checks and trailer status updates.
  • Collaborate with switchers, dock managers, and transportation coordinators to ensure seamless trailer movement and storage.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in administration, warehousing, and logistics, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and other administrative software.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and drivers.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including overtime as required.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 10 hours.
  • Ability to perform all duties without accommodations, unless otherwise specified.

  • Experience with warehouse management systems and transportation software.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
